Microsoft Unveiled Windows 11

New Delhi, [07/10/2023] – Microsoft has just unveiled Windows 11, version 23H2 Build 22631, in the Release Preview Channel for Windows Insider Program for Business participants. This preview update is a significant step towards the official release in the fourth quarter of 2023. Similar to the previous version (22H2), this update will share the same servicing branch and code base.

What’s Fresh in Windows 11
Windows 11, Version 23H2 Build 22631, Microsoft Teams (free) now takes center stage in Windows 11, with a pinned icon on the taskbar. This new integration allows for seamless chatting, calling, and meeting capabilities with just a click or two. The compact size of Microsoft Teams (free) lets you position it anywhere on your desktop, providing an effortless way to stay connected while multitasking.
With Microsoft Teams (free), users can also enjoy the new Phone Link integration, enabling SMS messaging and sharing of meeting links directly from their Android phones using their regular phone number.
The update introduces a revamped People experience in Teams, simplifying contact discovery and connections for users. Additionally, Windows 11 Game Bar now features a Play Together widget powered by Microsoft Teams (free), allowing friends to overlay their video feeds while gaming.
For Commercial Users
Commercial customers can access the version 23H2 feature update through various channels, including Windows Update for Business (WUfB), Windows Server Update Service (WSUS), and Azure Marketplace. Microsoft offers free support to resolve commercial-specific issues that may arise during deployment.
For All Windows Insiders
Windows Insider Program members in the Release Preview Channel can now experience Windows Client, version 23H2 by using the “seeker” experience in Windows Update. This means that eligible Insiders can manually initiate the download and installation of Build 22631. Once updated, they will continue to receive regular servicing updates through Windows Update.
